Small Businesses Helping Small Businesses - Flood Relief Fundraiser

On July 21st Lewis and Upshur Counties were hit with a historic flood that destroyed over 100+ homes and small businesses. Through the amazing support of Tygart Valley United Way and from support from customers all across West Virginia and 40 different state Loving WV was able to raise $25,471 selling these rust orange shirts featuring an iconic phrase from JFK "The sun doesn't always shine in West Virginia but the people always do." We put ourselves in the shoes of the small businesses that were impacted and thought about what it would feel like to spend every day obsessing over your business then in just a matter of hours literally have your entire business wash away. It was heart breaking. The team at Loving WV got together and partnered with some amazing small business owners to offer you an exclusive BLUE version of our fundraiser shirt that will only be sold at these locations. If you are not close to one of them but still want a shirt be sure to reach out they might ship! A portion of each shirt and sticker sold will go directly to a small business fund setup by the Tygart Valley United Way and will be used to help the small businesses in these counties continue serve the people on their community and breath life back into the flooded areas
