New Site, New Shirts, New Mission!

We love West Virginia and this little project has taken on a life of its own. When we started Loving WV it was just a way for me to make some designs that I liked and get them printed on some shirts. I started to realize very quickly that this was more than just a missing home project. There are so many wonderful people that live in West Virginia, so many beautiful places to see, things to do, and delicious food to try. I started to feel the need to share this with the rest of the world.

There are lots of stereotypes that people have about West Virginia, and I want Loving WV to break all those stereotypes and help promote a more positive image for this state. With the launch of our new site, (I hope you like it) we are also starting a blog series that I am naming “Love Your County” this will be a weekly blog series that will feature one county every week (we hope we can keep up) for the next 55 weeks. In these blog posts we suggest a few of the great things that we love about each of these places. Our first blog post is on Marion County entitled “Fairmont - Home of Legends”

First off thank you so much for taking a look at my store. This has been something that I have been working on for several months and it is time to release this very small store onto the web. To say that I am nervous is an understatement, but out of all the emotions that I am feeling I think that excitement is the one that is shining through. This project started out as a way for me to design things that I liked for the state that I loved and you all liked what I had done so here we are. I want to say thank you all from the bottom of my heart I can’t wait to see where this leads us.
